Final Words To My Readers

hey everyone, I’m home for good in Perth. Thanks for reading, it’s been an interesting journey abroad with many lessons learnt and many experiences cherished. Thanks for joining with me as I did this, thanks for your comments and your questions. I can only hope I haven’t bored your socks off and caused a mass slumber party across the world.

This will probably be my last blog from here until I start travelling again – which probably won’t be too far away.  In time, I mean, not distance, heck, if I go somewhere, I have to make it worth it! I might start a proper opinionated blog sometime in the future and I’ll link it to here if I do. But I might take a break from being out in the www and enjoy being here in my little ol’ hometown.

My next few months in Perth look set up (well, getting there) and I’m sure many crazy times will be had. Drop me a line if you want to know more.

going walkabout

hey all! i’m writing this on my dad’s phone – thus the craziness!!
i’m in south australia finishing up the very last part of my months long ‘trip’. at themo, i’m on walkabout, out bush somwhere enjoying the unique heat. won’t ever complain about it, still have 2.5 months of internal deep freezer defrosting to do.
love the aussie outback, especially in summer, when i get out here the most. it’s dry, its parched, it’s a scorcher, but it’s home and i suppose i never really realised the importance of it to each person.
i’ve also been blessed with a good amount of down time to read about my hero, adam gilchrist, and reflect on life. and watch movies! mum’s been watching the hopman cup on tv – shes the tennis buff of the family.
